ladies who lunch
Today I woke up with this song in my head, which reminds me of the women of my childhood. The women who would who have lunch and then pick up their kids at my school. The gossip, the bitchiness, the unbearable bad taste. Maybe it's because yesterday i had an encounter with a woman, a teacher, who seems to be quite the opposite, or at least critical of those ladies who lunch. I'm in a transition between that bourgeoisie i was never part of but in which i was brought up and something else, the kind of transition that makes you ask yourself who you are, and what do you want...

My favorite model of all time, Christy Turlington, is on the cover of the American Vogue. The article that runs with the cover is full of BS just as any Vogue article is still, just seeing Christy's face ("The Face") made my day, there's something about her that soothes me...
She's also the new face of YSL
and she's still working for Bally
